Christian Teaching Resources

Sunday School Resources

This page is for printable resources you can use for your Sunday School or Christian Classroom. We'll add more forms and handouts as they're created.

Oriental Trading Company has a wonderful selection of Christian themed crafts and activities, many that coordinate with Key Bible Stories, and Vacation Bible School Themes. You can often pick up these Christian Craft supplies in Bulk, with discount prices, and larger orders sometimes qualify for free shipping. If you're going to be purchasing any resources or supplies from Oriental Trading Company this year, please use our links, as a portion of your purchase will go towards the funding of our site! We also recommend the following Craft Books below, stay tuned for individual reviews on each! Thank you in advance for your support!

Classroom Welcome Signs

This is a set of 12 different Welcome signs you can use in your classroom. These would be great to have up by the entryway of your class, or where the parents check their kids in. Print on Heavy Cardstock and laminate or cover with Contact Paper for best results. Also use velcro to hang them and you can switch them out easily as you want a new look! This is a large file, it's a PDF, and you'll need to give it a minute to load.

Pencil Topper Awards
PencilTopJesus.pdf

These printable Pencil Toppers make great awards or treats to send the children home with. Simply paper punch the grey holes and slide on a new pencil. There are 5 different sayings on this sheet.

Bible Handprint Calendar

Watch the Instructional Video

This is a 12 month calendar you can print and have children add their hand prints to. This makes a wonderful gift for parents, friends and family or an end of the year project. Each month has a bible verse or inspiring story to go along with the handprints. Watch the video to see how to make the different shapes for each month.

Creation Collage

This is a collage you can make with your Sunday School class when you're learning about the days of creation. If you have the time this craft is best done "One Day" at a time, meaning that you learn about Day One, how God said "let their be light" and separated it from the dark...ect........then do the Day One part of the collage. Then in your next class learn about Day Two, and how God separated the waters and do Day Two on the collage....ect untill you have a finished collage. If you keep this on an 8 1/2 x 11 sheet of paper you can frame them and send them home with children after the unit is finished.

This is a directory of free Bible Lesson from Calvery Chapel Children's Ministry. The webmaster of their site is extreemly gracious in provding these lessons for free, and allowing you to distribute them freely, with the only exception as to not ever sell them. Also, you can request a free cd version of these lessons, by visiting their website and contacting them for more information. And as if that wasn't enough, they've recently translated all of these lessons into Spanish! You can find the Spanish lessons here. New Testement Old Testement If you use these lessons, please consider supporting Calvery Chapel Children's Ministry, either with a monetary donation, or spreading the word about their site! Simply add a text link to your site called Free Bible Lessons, and link with this url http://children.calvarychapel.com/site/curriculum.htm

Another great link that I just found is here, there are over 150 complete lessons that you can print easily, and gather together in time for your class. Free Topical Bible Lessons.

Mine came through perfectly. It would be helpful to me if you could
do some in black & white since my printer doesn't do well with
color. Thanks!

Hmmm, I can try and put up the files individually, give me a day or
so and maybe it'll be easier for ya'll to pull up. It pulls up fine
on my end, but let me see what I can do.....be right back :)
Valerie Comment by Valerie on April 7, 2008 at 4:05pm
Okay ladies, see if that works for you, there are each individually
placed on the website, so they should be a smaller file size. Let
me know how it works out! IN Christ, Valerie
Karen Comment by Karen on April 8, 2008 at 3:54pm
Valerie, Hurray! It worked. Thank you for making each file
separate. Now each loads well and much quicker. Thanks for doing
that, Valerie. I could also use the black version if that can be an
option, Karen

I love being able to welcome the children with the theme we are
teaching. Thank you. Do you have one of Jesus and the little
children?

The Creation Collage is great! I will have to do a refresher lesson for Amberly's Letter Cc Lapbook, just so we can do this!
Pam Comment by Pam on July 25, 2008 at 9:06am
After staring at a blank screen for awhile, I got the bright idea to SCROLL DOWN :) For those having problems, the calendar pages are there. It's just that the top half of the paper is blank so you have a place to put the handprints. Scroll down to see the calendar. I can't wait to do this craft with my preschoolers at co op. It's going to make a fabulous Christmas gift for moms and dads. Thank you so much for sharing all your hard work!
