Easter Bible Lesson:

Children's Version Bible Storytime

Sunday School Fun Zone has a free Palm Sunday Lesson for Preschoolers.

Calvary Chapel has two different bible curriculum lessons on Easter.  The first is called J
esus is
Crucified, and the second is Jesus is Alive.

Mission Arlington has a great Easter Bible Lesson called "Go and Tell Others" based off Matthew
28:16-20

Easter Bible Verse:

(Matthew 28:6) He is not here, he is risen, just as he said.

(John 11:25-36) Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live,
even though he dies; 26and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Do you believe this?"

Resurrection Eggs:  If you've never heard of Resurrection Eggs, you're missing out on a fantastic
teaching tool for your students.  You can
buy premade kits for relativly inexpensixe, or you can gather up
resources to make your own.

Resurrection Egg Printables:  Use these to Make your own set of Resurrection Eggs!  Children can cut out
a set and use plastic eggs in an empty egg carton, then they can take home they're very own set to retell
to their family!

Resurrection Bingo & Game:  If you'd like to make a fun take home game or have classroom bingo time,
you can use these printables to help children remember the Easter Story.

Easter Plays & Skits:  If you have the means, consider having a small classroom skit or play for the
children to watch.  Older children can take part in the fun.  

In the Tomb, Out of the Tomb:  This is a classroom activity to encourage listening skills.
Easter Crafts:

He is Risen!  Children color the pictures and cut
out Jesus. Staple the ribbon onto Jesus and
insert him into the tomb. As you read the
Resurrection story with your children, let them pull
Jesus out of the tomb on the third day!

Empty Tomb Craft This is a fun craft for children
to learn and understand the meaning of the
empty tomb. As you retell the story, show them
how to open up the tomb, and surprise, "He is not
here, He is Risen...Just as He Said." Use that
verse every time you open it up, and soon your
children will know the verse and the meaning!
