Part 4 of our Christmas Story Ornaments
covers the visit of the shepherds.  After Jesus
was born, God sent angels to the shepherds to
let them know that a savior had arrived!
Step 1
Print your Christmas Story above, and
cut out as shown.
Step 2
Turn the story over and glue your
clothespins like sheep legs.
Step 3
Start to glue on your cotton balls.
Stand them upright to get a uniform
look.  (curly like a sheep)
Step 4
When you get to the top, decide
where you want to put your sheeps
head, and fluff out a cotton ball.
Step 5
Glue the fluff to the paper where you
will place your sheep's head.
Step 6
Cut out a face and two ears from pink
felt.
All Done!
You can attach a ribbon to your
sheep if you want to hang it, or use
the clothespin to attach it to a
sturdy branch.
Materials
  • 2 Clothespins
  • Pink Felt
  • Cotton Balls
  • Google Eyes
  • Glue
Step 7
First glue down the face in the middle,
and then pull some of the fluff around
the top and sides.
Step 8
Glue the ear on behind the pulled out
fluff.  Just sort of tuck it behind a little,
so that your sheep can have some
furry bangs!
Step 9
Glue the second ear on the other side,
then glue on your googly eyes!
Step 10
The back of your sheep will have the
Christmas story about the shepherds
visit.
